I know the coffee date sounds like just another visit to the coffee shop, all in a chill mood in your PJs. We, that’s not how you’re going to spend the date this time and that’s exactly why we cover summer coffee date outfits in the past.
You don’t need to overthink about your fit or the whole look. You’ll hit the spirit with your charm, only if you stay confident.
Today, I’m on a mission to make you ace the whole date look, combining aesthetics and practicality. We don’t want to feel like FREEZING or SWEATING. Demanding a Balance, I mean.
As a fashion enthusiast, my deep senses say it should be nothing less than a lightweight breathable fit under which you can layer accordingly to achieve girly vibes. To sketch an idea, start with a lightweight base layer, for instance, a crew neck t-shirt will work.
But what if the temp is cold, switch it with a sophisticated turtleneck then, a long-sleeve one indeed. For layering, better if you go with a cardigan but if you want to keep it formal with a trench coat (the viral Camel one). Top your fit with a handwoven scarf and you’re ready to steal the attention. That’s the top part done.
I see no point in creating fuss and chaos in the dressing room when you can look exclusively brilliant just after combining 2 to 3 staples.
Think the coffee date will be all about sitting and talking? Your partner might ask you for a walk through a park or maybe you guys decide for a quick visit through a bookstore…(A bookstore visit can lift the date’s aesthetic vibe, really). So, here, shoes take our focus.
You can wander with those high heels you were planning for the date but for something cozy and stylish that can match your fit’s vibe, I would say go with UGGs or Sambas. For pants, you can go with jeans, trousers, or pants that fit you best!
I know it’s easy to imagine a million outfits, so when it comes to true inspiration, I’ve done the hard work for you. I went down an Instagram rabbit hole, and after hours of scrolling, questionable snack breaks, and maybe a minor existential crisis; 22 fall coffee date outfits are hand-picked. These aren’t just outfits; they’re the “I-look-cute-but-didn’t-try” kind of magic that works whether you’re into coffee or straight-up espresso. Trust me, these are the looks you’ll want to take for a spin this time.
